Yunnan Pressed Green Tea is from the land-locked province of Yunnan located in southwestern China near the Himalayan Mountains. Considered the birthplace of tea, Yunnan is one of the main tea-producing regions. It benefits from a mild climate and has a beautiful, rugged landscape of mountains, plateaus, and rivers.
The leaves have been pressed into perfectly portioned, single-serve squares. They yield a light-bodied first infusion, with subsequent infusions being medium-bodied as the square breaks apart. The infusion is smooth, balanced and flavorful with notes of grass, wood, earth and barnyard - reminiscent of a young Pu-er.
