Kumaon Organic is a full leaf white tea from the Kumaon Region in the state of Uttarakhand in India. Uttarakhand is a small, remote, relatively unknown tea-producing state in northern India that is located in the Himalayas. It is a very mountainous and picturesque region where only a few tea estates and smallholder farmers produce tea, primarily in the Kumaon Division in the southernmost part.
The tippy, Bai Mu Dan-style leaves yield a slightly viscous, light- to medium-bodied infusion that is fresh and sweet with grassy notes.
