Shizuoka Black Tea is a rare and unique black tea from the Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan. Leaves are harvested from three different cultivars of Camellia sinensis and are then withered for about two days.
The leaves yield a medium– to full-bodied, rich and flavorful infusion with notes of umami, earth, cacao, toast, and the subtle brininess typical of Japanese green tea.
