Tan Huong Green is produced by this women-owned co-op in the Thai Nguyen Province in northern Vietnam. Located at an elevation about 1,500 feet in the main tea-growing region, the co-op informally began in the 1980’s and formally established itself in 2001. This tea is produced from the local LT cultivar and is grown without chemicals in the warm and humid climate.
Small, beautifully twisted leaves yield a light-bodied, smooth, and well-balanced infusion with sweet, vegetal and smoky notes.
