Gold Peony Black Tea is grown in the western part of the Hunan Province of China. This tea is crafted from the Jin Mu Dan cultivar, which is originally from Fujian Province, China. The tea is grown at an elevation of 3,000 feet and the pluck of two-leaves-and-a-bud are hand-harvested and processed in small batches.
The leaves yield a medium-bodied, smooth, clean and balanced infusion with a sweet aroma and honey, grass, and subtle floral notes.
