Roasted Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat is a cultivated plant that is not related to wheat, as it is not a member of the grass family. These seeds originate from plants that are among the highest grown in the world, at elevations about 9,000 feet in the mountains of Yunnan Province, China.
The seeds have been double roasted to yield a caffeine-free infusion with a nice toasty taste. You can infuse the seeds multiple times and/or eat them in the morning for a nourishing breakfast!
