Kim Tuyen Mid-Oxidized is a limited production wulong tea from the Moc Chau region in the Son La Province in northern Vietnam. Grown at an elevation about 2,000 feet in the temperate climate, this tea is produced from the Kim Tuyen cultivar, which was brought from Taiwan in 1994. After harvest, the leaves are oxidized about 40%-60% and then loosely rolled.
The leaves unfurl to yield a sweet, smooth and quenching, medium-bodied infusion that has nutty, toasty, and honey notes with a soft minerality.
Leaves may be infused multiple times.
